Senior DevOps Engineer / System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer / System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unix/Linux systems, with complementary skills in Windows server administration. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain mainly Unix/Linux
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using DevOps tools and best practices.
- Ensure system security, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning.
- Support cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling services.
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Monitor system health, performance, and troubleshoot any server or network-related issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to support their needs in a continuous integration environment.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Migrate an existing Windows server environment to Unix.

Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator.
- Strong expertise in Unix/Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
- Proficiency with Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, etc).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Migrate an existing Windows server environment to Unix.
- Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPN, and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- You need to be able to communicate in english.
