We’re faced with an ever-increasing flow of technical queries from our clients and prospects, which is why we’re looking forward to having you on board of our team as a 2nd Line Technical Support Specialist. You will be responsible for first-line communication with customers (and prospects) of Macrobond, mostly performed via e-mail. Questions that you will have to answer will be mainly related to: helping resolve issues with our flagship application’s Python, R and WebAPI connectors networking/proxy troubleshooting for connectivity issues reported by our clients bug tracking being a technical point of contact for our account management teams. Your main tasks will include: Communicating in English with customers, prospects, and coworkers through e-mail, phone and screen sharing conference calls Identifying issues and finding solutions through experimentation and through our internal knowledge base, Learning more about the application and how it’s used by the customers Bug testing, bug report writing – concise, precise in form Sharing your knowledge - teaching less technical colleagues how to diagnose, troubleshoot common problems Our requirements: Written and spoken English on a B2 or higher level Background in IT or related fields Good understanding of at least one of scripting languages: Python, R and willingness to get familiar with other.
