Luxoft Automotive is supporting its customers to create strong solutions with up-to-date technologies and matching their exact demand, based on a valuable, professional and trustful relationship. In your role as Subject Matter Expert in the area of OTA vehicle updates and vehicle diagnostics you will work together with a team of experts to consult and advise our customers, clarify requirements, ideate and draft conceptual solution approaches and support the entire development chain to deliver cutting edge solutions. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include Conceptual work for vehicle diagnostics and update/configuration approaches in collaboration with the customer Software Architecture break-down for in-vehicle components Analysis of existing vehicle diagnostics and OTA update solutions Technical guidance of the project team Skills Must have Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math or similar required 7+ years of experience in the software development domain within the automotive industry Advanced knowledge on vehicle architecture, bus-systems and protocols (CAN, Ethernet, ...) Knowledge on Service-Oriented Architecture; ideally in embedded domain Knowledge and experience in requirements engineering --- Diagnostics Strong knowledge on vehicle diagnostics and diagnostic use-cases (e.g. flashing, coding, calibration) from ECU and diagnostic tester perspective Strong knowledge on off-board and on-board related diagnostic OEM processes from aftersales, production and development point of view Advanced Knowledge on diagnostic standards like UDS, DoIP, ODX, OTX, MCD-3D, D-PDU API Knowledge on diagnostic tools, e.g. Diagnostic Testers, Aftersales Authoring Tools --- OTA Good understanding on remote (OTA) ECU or Vehicle software update use-case Expertise in the domain of flashing/coding and security of UDS ECUs Understanding on UCM based update of AUTOSAR Adaptive systems --- Soft Skills Good communication skills, positive attitude and professional appearance towards customers, suppliers and colleagues A highly technical and analytical mindset, to understand the complexities of large automotive environments Leadership and consultative skills Very good communication skills in English are a must Nice to have Fluent German Knowledge in AUTOSAR Adaptive Knowledge on SOVD Languages English: C1 Advanced Seniority Senior Count on us!
