Work together with an Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer of the industrial and agricultural equipment to support in the product development & optimization of various System and SW features following Scrum methodology. Responsibilities We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated software engineer with excellent C++, and object-oriented programming skills to work with other talented individuals in a challenging and rewarding environment using Qt framework. You would work closely with external stakeholders and other software engineers to design, implement, enhance, and integrate software that is built with and around Qt framework and Matlab Simulink for Precision Farming software for Agriculture and industrial display equipment. Role is expected to actively support and provide technical guidance to the team, coaching in technical topics, provide right direction, result oriented and responsible to deliver the tasks as per the customer expectation as a team, while engaging in technical discussions with stakeholders and customers. Support to identify training needs while inspiring collaboration, lead change and driving for results - Develop and optimize the embedded solutions in complex software and hardware environment - Interface with Systems Engineers on the refinement of solutions and architecture - Deliver a series of new customer features against project deadlines - Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases - Drive application performance and memory usage improvements - Analyze and root cause software issues - Interface with co-located internal and external development teams - Follow up actions to ensure quality and process conformance/adherence - Support Technical team talent development - Support hiring process - Foster continuous improvement and innovation Skills Must have Software development experience in automotive industry or similar (7+) Advance Software Development Process Knowledge and experience. Advance Experience in C++ and other high-level object-oriented programming languages, with high proficiency to write clean and well-structured code able to guide others (go-to person). Advance Experience developing user interfaces (UI-HMI, Human Machine Interface) using Qt framework Basic experience with Model based development (Simulink® & stateflow®) for pages/ user interface’s (HMI, Human Machine Interface) logic application development Experience with requirements, Configuration and Change Management tools (e.g. Git, GitHub). Ability to translate and breakdown system requirements into features. Technical understanding of engineering and embedded system architectures Strong knowledge about Quality assurance, Software release procedures and capability models (e.g. ASPICE, CMMI) Team player with solid communication skills Intercultural orientation Strong problem solving skills, ability to solve technical problems independently and support others Embrace and adapt to changes Proactive and collaborative attitude Result oriented, customer centric Nice to have Knowledge in safety related processes (ISO26262) Knowledge in security related processes (ISO21434) Advance knowledge and experience in embedded Electronics, Microcontrollers, Embedded C/C++, compilers, and developer environment Requirements analysis. Knowledge of scripting languages such as python, perl, etc. Working with diagnostics (UDS ISO 14229, SAEJ1939) Experience with Communication Protocols (J1939,CAN,CANFD,ETH,LIN or others).
