ABOUT THE ROLE Following a 360 degree review of our systems, database and platforms used to deliver our services, we are moving into an exciting phase of development. This role will be an essential part of the redevelopment of our service/system, helping us to design a more efficient service and its delivery, as a leading provider in our field. The role also includes the exciting chance to be involved in the development of new platforms and products. We have a road map of development for this role to deliver, working with our Digital Ops team and consultant technical lead to build improved systems for internal and external use. This is an exciting phase of development requiring a range of skills, joining a team of like minded individuals excited about developing and fixing the future. We encourage personal future development, growing your knowledge and skills. Continuous professional development is key and this will be supported with funded learning, conference attendance, webinars and online courses, putting this directly into action with the live development. This is the first appointment to our Digital Ops team with plans to grow this over the next two years to a team of Dev Ops. An excellent opportunity to join and lead that team. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: C# ASP.NET RESTful API’s ASP.NET Web Pages Microsoft SQL Server Rigorous about testing and code quality Fluent English speaker DESIRABLE SKILLS PHP WordPress Azure Agile Development practises Automated Testing About you - Highly self-motivated - Well organised - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team members - A passion for your craft BENEFITS AND PACKAGE - Competitive salary of €40,000 - €60,000 per annum dependent on experience - We are looking for a developer to join our team remotely, so you could work for a UK-based based in Portugal.
