Know more about Neotalent here _http://www.neotalent.pt What is your mission: You will integrate a team in a Neotalent partner taking on the role of Linux System Administrator in Oeiras. Description: The Systems Administrator designs, deploys and maintains the secure site infrastructure. • Deploy and maintain new secure site platorms to fully working functional level and ready for audit; • System hardening, working with our security team and using CIS standard; • Create and maintain detailed up to date documentation; • Ensure full visibility for system and application; • Maintain high hardening and security levels for all systems and their audit trail; • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, data and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups; • Maintain OS patches and upgrades release review on a regular basis; • Troubleshoot reported problems; • Create build and deploy systems to quickly respond to business requirements. The talente we are looking for: • University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar; • At least 2 years of experience in administration of Red Hat Linux/CentOS; • Experience in systems hardening and security management, IPTables, SELinux; • Experience in administration of virtualized environments based on VMware ESXi; • Administration of storage systems like NetApp; • Working knowledge of Infrasctructure as Code and related tools such as terraform, ansible or puppet; • Management and use of CI/CD systems and pipelines like Gitlab; • Containerizing App/services with Docker; • Monitoring technology like Prometheus, OpenNMS, Nagios; • Management of proxies, web servers and load balancers, like Squid, NGINX and HAProxy; • Working knowledge of scripting technology; • Experience managing IAM systems like OpenLDAP, Active Directory and Bind DNS; • TCP/IP protocols: TCP, UDP, ICMP, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP, DNS, NTP and others; • Understanding of fundamental hardware concepts: disk, memory, CPU, NIC, HBA, firmware, RAID, performance concepts (I/O, paging, swapping, system calls), iSCSI, Fiber Channel, Ethernet; Why Neotalent: • More than 20 years of experience in technology and business development; • Access to ongoing technical training and solid performance evaluation and career management methodologies; • Opportunity to be seen and recognized, to work on the best projects and to make choices that guarantee an exciting career; • Opportunity to work on international projects and be part of an Everyshore for EveryChallenge paradigm.
