Who are we? As part of Rupeal group, Kwan is an IT Staffing company which specialises in the art of professional fulfilment, making sure that anyone who works with us, from clients, to candidates, to consultants, is in the right path for achieving their motivations! Main Responsibilities: - Build and manage local team (incl. CV reviews and interviews); - Ensure strategy and requirements are well understood by the local team members; - Work with the local team to plan work for each week and in line with the high level roadmap; - Participate in our agile based software development life-cycle incl. development, code review and testing; - Participate and contribute to requirement and design meetings for new functionality; - Provide technical analysis when needed; - Quickly assist with support issues as and when required; - Participate in the definition and implementation of development best practices; - Share knowledge with more junior members of the team; - Help keep local team members informed and motivated. What are the requirements? - At least 10 years software development experience (C# or Java); - At least 2 years .Net (C#) and Oracle SQL development experience; - Experience building real-time web applications will be a strong plus; - Good analytical skills; able to understand, formalise and explain complex problems; - Knowledge and ideally commercial experience of one or more of the following ORMs: nHibernate, Entity Framework, Dapper (or custom in-house solution); - Very good understanding of relational databases and SQL language; - Track record of successful design and implementation of scalable and performant REST based web services as well as web socket based real time services on a .Net stack; - Strong knowledge of IIS and Windows Server (configuration); - Commercial experience developing web front-end in HTM5 / Javascript / Typescript and UI frameworks (eg. Angular); - Excellent knowledge of programming best practices and design patterns particularly handling concurrency; - Experience packaging modern web applications for deployment a plus; - Strong interest in continuous improvement and all aspects of software development and delivery; - Comfortable working in an Agile environment; keeping jira tasks up to date and planning workto fit weekly sprints; - Strong understanding of test driven development and continuous integration practices; - Team City configuration and build automation experience a plus; - Good communication skills, both orally and in writing. Comfortable interacting with front office users; - Confident numeracy and solid academic background in engineering, sciences or economics.
