Dellent is a Portuguese consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, focused mainly on IT and Telecommunication services, and we are hiring PHP Developer for a long term contract role in Oporto. As a PHP Developer you will be challenged to use the most recent technologies and frameworks to build and maintain web applications and services.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Working directly with the client to ensure the technical feasibility of the requirements;
Service oriented architectures, design patterns and data structures;
Test-driven development and continuous delivery;
Object-oriented programming and Model-View-Controller pattern;
Metrics, performance, and operational aspects that show you care about your code;
Using Linux distribution systems;
Developing client-side scripts with JavaScript.
Caching services (preferable Varnish);
Using version control systems (preferable git);
Building server-side and client-side application using PHP, Javascript and HTML;
Create and maintain MySQL/MariaDB Databases;
Understanding of security and performance concepts when developing and deploying modern web applications;
Using one of the following PHP frameworks: Laravel, Symfony, Yii, Cake or Zend;
Problem solving and demonstrable logic.
