Data analyst and designer – Vilnius, Lithuania (M/F)

CHALLENGE

Our client is a data science company turning IOT sensor data into rich insights about people’s behaviour and real-time context.

You will be part of our client’s Data Science Team and work in a fast-paced environment where you will use your programming skills to solve challenging data-driven problems.

Your objective will be to extract, analyze, understand and visualize insights output by our client’s platform. You also will conduct customized analysis and visualisation for different use cases and business verticals.

You will create visually-appealing dashboards and conduct data analysis specific to individual proof of concepts.

You will work with biz dev, sales and product owners and also with designers, and full stack engineers.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You must have an academic degree (BSc or MSc) in computer science, economics, or any analytic-oriented fields, or have proven equivalent experience.

You must have a quantitative mindset and also proven experience in statistical analysis.

Experience with data analysis Python stack (Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn) and dedicated business intelligence tools (eg. Tableau)  is mandatory.

Experience with Postgres and SQL.

Knowledge of interactive visualization libraries like (e.g. D3.js or Plot.ly)

Understanding of front-end development (e.g. JavaScript/CSS/HTML)

Working Knowledge of data visualization principles

Basic understanding of design principles

Understanding of business process and requirements

Experience in data analysis and visualisation in a business-driven environment
