Data Scientist

Profimetrics, owned by itim Group, is a rapidly expanding multinational IT company which main activity is to develop software solutions to optimize business processes for retailers. With its research and development center based in Leça do Balio, Matosinhos, Profimetrics develops large scale projects in England, Spain, Portugal USA and Latin America.


We are looking for a Data Scientist – who will have the following responsibilities:


- Build advanced statistical and machine learning models for Retail;
- Analyse sales data and forecast future sales behaviours;
- Work with large data sets;
- Use SQL for data manipulation;
- Have an eye for new, useful techniques;
- Interact with project teams;

Required Skills And Experience:

- Data science experience;
- Knowledge of Data Science Algorithms and Techniques;
- Experience with Forecasting Models;
- Experience with R and SQL for manipulating data;

Nice to Have

- Experience in Retail;
- Experience with Arima, Holt-Winters, K-Means, Decision Trees;
