Challenge

Our Client is a multinational consulting firm in the technology sector offering a wide range of solutions and services, including consulting, infrastructure services, implementation, development and maintenance of applications, and outsourcing services. With a total turnover of €375 million in 2017 and a workforce made up of more than 4,000 highly qualified professionals, already has a direct presence on five continents.

This professional will develop a Radiation Data Exchange Platform to enable a sustainable exchange of data between National Radiation Monitoring Networks and develop similar versions for other regions. Implement new functionality and improve existing ones as required to enable the data exchange between regional nodes. In depth analysis of the software with particular attention to data flow procedures in order to customize these according to specific business requirements. Provide quality plans and assessments of gaps in the existing software design, giving recommendation how to adapt the system architectural software design, security requirements and visual design. Ensure unit and functional tests for newly developed applications. Effectively document processes as to facilitate the production of user training material. Provide technical support, establishing and maintaining a helpdesk. Create and keep updated user manuals for the system. Define a regular maintenance for software and databases installed, performance tests, regular backup and recovery tests as well as ensure BIA (Business Impact Analysis) implementation. Project Management tasks such as participation in regular progress meetings with the team, monthly progress reports and updates on planning. Travelling may be required.

PROFILE

• EU Citizenship, bachelors degree and fluency in English are mandatory;
• Good knowledge of .NET c#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL, MS Visual Studio, SVN and JIRA.
