Our technology team is grounded by test driven development (TDD) and a number of ISO accreditations in quality management systems, information security and human-centered design. This ensures that our web development is rock solid. A key aspect of the role is working with the technology department to ensure analytics are setup correctly, monitor application performance, errors and oversee notifications through bots within Slack and third party dashboards to ensure the team is quickly responding to spikes and performance problems. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be comfortable with creating or modifying APIs and querying SQL databases. Your ultimate mission is to cultivate a culture of quality analysis and help to tap in to both structured and unstructured data sets to empower production decision making, oversee system performance, improve the quality of our work and increase client ROI. Functional responsibilities Participate in testing projects under both Agile and Waterfall workflows. Manage automated tests for websites, applications and APIs with Katalon. Utilisation of W3C, Google Products and others to test Accessibility and compliance to AA standards Help to write encompassing test scripts including usability, functional, non-functional, look and feel and regression testing plans. Execute recurring QA procedures such as weekly reports, project exit reports, monthly process flow documents and monthly summaries Run testing using various tools such as link and security scanners Use Jira to log issues and correspond with clients Manage on-going post-launch support via a Helpdesk ticketing system. Attend internal and client meetings for issue reviews and retrospectives. Skills We are looking for someone with multimedia, QA or web development experience. You will ideally an academic degree in computing or multimedia. You will need to be proficient with Katalon and HTML. A qualification in ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester at Foundation Level would be advantageous. The chosen candidate will need a strong self-starter attitude and be a confident communicator so that all tasks are completed to the highest possible standard. You also need to demonstrate a capability to work under pressure and organize high workloads. We will expect you to learn our methodologies and processes surrounding ISO 27001, ISO9001-2008, Google Tag Manager and user centred design.
