Since 2012, our company develops software solutions in the field of IP data and IP meta data with specialisation in the sensitive business segment of real time data analytics where we are working with large corporations, utility companies and governmental entities for many years. Our solutions support as underlying technology various tasks in the Cyber Security field like ISO27001 controls, GDPR regulations as well as individual settings for data profiling, pattern analytics, cybercrime prevention and other cyber security and cyber defense scenarios in different industries like Finance, Transport, Telecommunications, Media and the Utility sector.

We are currently looking for an Onsite Engineer to join our technical team, based in Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Independent implementation of our hardware and software solution at the customer
• Installation and configuration our software solution on customer provided hardware
• First and Second Level Support
• Maintenance visits at customer sites
• Documentation and follow up of occurring disorders or failures

Requirements for the position:
——————————————

• Completed profound education in the field of IT (school, IT-apprenticeship or similar) or work-related experience
• Experience with installation of LINUX based server systems, preferably with CentOS/ RedHat and Ubuntu
• Knowledge of common Linux-based software, such as Apache, NoSQL database, Docker and the like
• Experience with network components installation and administration
• Knowledge of shell-scripting (other programming and scripting languages are a plus) of advantage but not mandatory
• Experience with Customer Contact
• Solution-oriented and self-confident appearance towards the customer
• Willingness to travel in Germany and/or international
• First experiences or basis-knowledge in IT networks (Junior level)
• English (spoken and written)
