IoT System Integration Engineer (m/f)

We are searching for a System Integration Engineer to work directly in our client – a multinational telecommunications company – to be responsible for the software integration of diverse systems of IoT Middleware projects improving the customer perception.

What will be your main tasks and responsibilities?
• Architect and provide infrastructure solutions for Business Applications, evaluating and identifying opportunities to apply new technology solutions or ways of working to existing or upcoming products & services;
• Work closely with the architecture and design teams to ensure requirements can be realized and avoid unnecessary engineering costs later in the development process and deliver IoT software as per said requirements, managing all aspects of software deployment and continuous integration;
• Identify and recommend process improvements from time-to-time and automate tasks using Unix Shell-scripting, Python,
• Design and engineer according to the product requirements and Enterprise Architecture guidelines defined by commercial business cases and the Architecture team;
• Lead and assist team with system upgrades and keep environments run with supported versions.

What is required from you?
• Degree in Telecom, Computing, or similar areas;
• Industry experience with Software Platforms in Linux/ Solaris/Windows platforms;
• Solid knowledge of server technologies - Apache, WebLogic Server, Tomcat;
• Strong academic knowledge or professional experience of software development: Java Enterprise, Oracle 11G, Linux, Windows, PHP, HTML5/JavaScript;
• Oracle Applications Portfolio (Oracle Web Center, Fusion Middleware and RDBMS);
• Experience with SQL, XML, JSON and CSV;
• Experience of modern API technologies;
• Good understanding of Databases –Oracle;
• Experience with Unix Shell, Perl, Python to perform automation and maintenance tasks;
• Big picture oriented, end-to-end and concept to-operations thinker;
• Result orientation, focus on delivery and execution;
• Good analytical and negotiations skills;
• Resilient and problem solver;
• Fluent English.
