The candidate will work as an integral part of a cross-functional development team, being responsible for delivering high quality software and creating value to the organization. What will be your main task and responsibilities? Participate in the complete development cycle, including analysis, design, implementation and tests of the features in the scope of responsibility. This cycle is based on a Feature Driven Development approach combined with agile practices; Active participation in team decisions to continuously improve methods, software and team satisfaction; Receive the requirements and features from the Product Management, have a deep understanding about whats being required and solve the problem from Software engineering perspective; Debugging the existing versions and propose enhancements taking into account the cost/benefit ratio. What is required from you? Degree in Computer Science or similar areas; More than 3 years of experience in Java software development; Experience and knowledge of Object Oriented concepts, data structures and multi-threading; Experience in Java, J2EE, EJB 3.1, Hibernate, JPA, GWT; Experience with Application servers (JBOSS will be valued); Database concepts and SQL; General UNIX, specifically Linux, and/or Windows knowledge; Knowledge of TMN products and Telecommunication Technologies (SDH, OTN, DWDM, Ethernet, IP); Fluent English (both spoken and written); Strong analytical and communication skills; Problem solving ability; Availability to travel.
