We are looking to hire a Corporate Software Engineer (Front End) to take part in the application design, implementation and testing. We develop services for the in-house developed customer system portfolio and other future add-ons. The role primarily interacts with the internal / external development peers, business analysts and quality assurance function from the same team as well as with other IT functions. Responsibilities - Contribute to the Customer Systems product definition - Develop software in Angular with microservice interaction following Panalpina’s coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes - Utilizes software engineering tools such as developers environments, build processes and debuggers in the software development process - Creates and executes designs for new functionalities as part of a software project - Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions - Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques - Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems - Estimate level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology, offer suggestions to improve processes, and provide comments on design aspects - Responsible together with the development team members for the development planning, the progress and the quality of the delivery Qualifications • JavaScript/TypeScript experience • Very good skills in Front End Development (Angular/React, nodejs, npm) - mandatory • Working with microservices using various APIs (REST preferred) • HTML 5, CSS 3 • Working with projects designed by UI/UX expert and transforming them to web form • Experience with mobile development, responsive web design, progressive web apps • Working knowledge of at least one of ticketing and/or ALM systems (JIRA preferred) • Working knowledge of at least one of source code versioning systems (GIT preferred) Please apply even if your profile fit 2-3 must have requirements.
