Data Engineer - DH

KWAN is looking for a Data Engineer to be directly hired by one of our clients (Belgian Startup).

You should have contact with the following technologies (of which knowledge is a plus), amongst others:
- Back-end: Python (Python, from the scraping to the data processing, it’s Python all the way);
- Git, because there really isn’t any other way to collaborate
- Automation:
- Jenkins (our preferred butler).
- Docker.
- We’re in the cloud and our services run on AWS (EC2/S3/RDS)
- Databases: SQL & NoSQL;
- Data processing:
- Data Storage;
- Data Cleaning;
- Hadhoop (for Big Data);
- Pandas for data manipulation.

About you
- Good experience with software development in an OO oriented language (Python is a plus).
- You have a strong interest in the above technologies (and related ones).
- You agree that code should be clean and documented.
- You have a critical mindset.
- You’re a team player, but you can independently tackle issues, given the right
context.
- You can work in a dynamic environment (we are a startup after all).
- You are fluent in English.
