We are hiring a Legal and Data Protection Liaison Officer for an importante client. Description: To manage liaison between the Marketing team / Sales and the Compliance functions, primarily for non-contract related matters. To proactively develop the Legal and Data Protection function within the Marketing team and other teams in order to improve procedures and drive best practice. To be a champion of all relevant regulatory, legal and compliance legislation for both the international and Portuguese business. To manage Data Protection requests from customers. Responsabilities: To have a good understanding of Portuguese regulations , TCF (treating customers fairly) principles, Data Protection Act requirements, Distance Selling regulations, international regulations and other relevant legislations. To ensure legal and data protection related issues are prioritised, considered and resolved appropriately. To contribute to legal and data protection related projects within the Marketing and Sales teams, e.g. rollout of service contract or insurance, etc. To manage the development and maintenance of checklists, flowcharts and procedures, documenting levels of compliance to relevant legislations and driving improvements. To provide support to the other Legal & Data Protection Liaison Officers in the production of warranty contracts when demanded by business pressures.
