Required Skills:
- Manage the configuration of the platform: Arrays, Pools, Ranks, Logical Control Units (LCUs), IO ports and Volume definitions.
- Perform health checks and correct anomalies.
- Dispatch LCUs over the different PR/SM partitions and provide the changes to perform into the z/OS configuration.
- Maintain the list of address ranges per partition that must be online and offline at IPL.
- Maintain the list of address ranges allocated per partition and per storage group.
- Add (on request) volumes to the different Storage Groups.
- Peer to Peer Remote Copy (PPRC) Administration.
- Extended Remote Copy (XRC) Administration
- Virtual Tape System (VTS) and Data Facility Removable Media Manager (DFRMM) administration.
- Hierarchical storage management (DFSHSM)..
