Wide Scope-Sistemas de Planeamento e Optimização Lda, seeks Java Engineer –Coimbra to integrate client projects with the following requirements:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver high quality, reusable and testable software components for highly scalable backend services using Java technology;
Support the Product Owner with architectural insights and technical knowledge;
Be part of the team planning and improvement using agile methodologies.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years of experience using Java, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, Maven, Git and Java Application Servers;
Knowledgeable with web architectures and services (HTTP, SOA, REST, JSON, etc.);
Familiar with non-relational database concepts;
Experienced with highly scalable and performant backend services;
Experienced in working autonomously within and agile environment with automated testing and continuous integration;
Excellent at solving complex problems;
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
