ITEN is one of the fastest growing IT companies in Portugal in recent years. It currently has around 360 employees and has more than 30 years of experience in the IT market. In May 2017 ITEN was acquired by Claranet, now integrating a group with operations in 8 countries. Because we aspire to do more and better we are looking for an Data Scientist to integrate our Client internal team. You must have: Experience in Data Mining & Forecasting. Experience in working with data modelling and machine learning software. Reprocessing the data, usually by using a mixture of shell scripts and a programming language such as Python, R, Scala, etc. Iteratively computing features and tuning parameters to improve the quality of the model. Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc. Experience with data visualization tools (QlikView, Plotly, DataHero). Valued skills in SQL and BI SQL Technologies (SSIS, SSAS). Experience in software development of multi-threaded, scalable and highly available distributed systems.
