Your responsibilities include: Develop web applications and services (APIs); Improve system efficiency, monitoring and performance; Reduce existing system complexity and technical debt; Design, implement and operate highly available, scalable and performant infrastructure and services; Design, implement and improve a common toolchain; Contribute to the adoption of modern, service-oriented methodologies; Work with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle; Triage operational issues and participate in an on-call rotation; You must have: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Maths; Minimum experience 1-2 years in a similar role; Good systems/software engineering skills; Developing software in Python and/or Ruby; Experience deploying software using CI/CD; Good, in-depth knowledge of Linux and associated technologies; Good understanding of networking and network protocols; We value: Knowledge and/or experience developing software in Go; Experience working with containers and container orchestration; Experience working with Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud; Dynamism and initiative; High sense of responsibility; Ability to analyze and solve problems; Good communication skills; Easy interpersonal relationship and team spirit; Ability to achieve results; Ability to deal with stress and emotional control.
