The hired professional will have as main responsibilities: - Gather and interpret relevant data and information when analyzing existing databases to be decommissioned; - Extract, summarize and compile data gathered for analysis of potential replacement solutions; - Assist in planning, designing and implementing solutions for automation or replacement of historical databases/files using group solutions; - Interaction with end-users to determine solution requirements and other pertinent data required to develop and maintain solutions proposed; - Work closely with appropriate areas of the business to understand and document their requirements and related tasks; - Continuous search for innovative solutions, following group guidelines, to improve processes that drive the teams to reach a higher level of performance. The ideal candidate should meet the following profile: - Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences or related; - Programming experience with JAVA, SQL and VBA; - Experience using MS Office tools such as Excel, Access for data manipulation and reporting; - Critical Thinking and attention to details; - Proactive and adaptable; - Good written and verbal communication skills; - Fluency in English.
