With an accumulated experience of 20 years and many cases of successful referenceable customers in Portugal and abroad, Syone is now recognized as a Centre of Competence involved in several projects throughout Europe. Beyond the specific know-how in Red Hat, ElasticSearch, HortonWorks and Sybase technologies, we develop products and services in the following multi-platform key areas: Mobile Solutions Business Intelligence, Information Management Solutions & Big Data Development & Integration Red Hat, JBoss & Linux Solutions Main Tasks: Designing of performance critical subsystems; Implementing in Java the most complex components; Breaking down complex functionalities into simple components; Providing accurate tasks estimates; Producing clear and accurate documentation of system interfaces and workflows; Participate in code reviews; Actively contributing to continuous code improvement; Working with other teams on overall trading system design. Technical environment: Linux Redhat 7, Java8, IDE Eclipse, Spring, Jackson, JUnit, PowerMock/Mockito, MySql 5.7, Jenkins, Git, Angular2. Candidate's Profile: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar; Minimum 3 years of Java advanced development, web oriented; Experience with AngularJS and/or Bootstrap; Strong familiarity with Git source code version management and with SQL language; Practical knowledge of a scripting language like Python; Curious mindset that have led you to learn new technologies like Elasticsearch, Big Data, Zookeeper and Microservices architecture; Familiar with event driven programming; Development experience under an Agile Framework. Fluency in English. We value: Practical knowledge of Jenkins and Ansible; Good understanding of Linux operating systems and low level network programming; Experience designing distributed and scalable architectures; Good grasp of latency and performance implications of software design; Strong technical leadership - previous team leader experience is a plus; Familiar with Devops concepts (continuous integration and continuous deployment); We offer: Salary framework according to experience; Annual training plan according to individual and company needs, with the possibility of holding technical certifications; Participation in challenging projects in line with your working expertise.
