ITEN is one of the fastest growing IT companies in Portugal in recent years. It currently has around 360 employees and has more than 30 years of experience in the IT market. In May 2017, ITEN integrated Claranet Group, being part of a larger operation in 8 countries. Because we aspire to do more and better, we are looking for a Support Engineer to join our team. Your responsibilities include: A Support Engineer is an exciting & challenging role in the resolution with highly complex, technical, and escalated support incidents related to supporting customer via phone, web, email, chat and other support channels covering various development and deployments. You must have: • Degree in Information Management Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering. • Microsoft IT Certification preferred (Ex. MCSE, MCSA, MCSD, MCTS). • Strong customer service, accurate and logical problem solving, and communication skills, plus the ability to work in a team environment. • Proven experience in creating support documentation and sharing knowledge with others through training delivery and mentoring. • Fluent in English (mandatory). • Ability to work in shifts and cover 24 x 7 support based on a rotation scheme with your peers. Other technical requirements • Strong knowledge of Windows User Experience Concepts, such as: App Installation & Update; Applocker; App V; DCS; RDS; Mgmt & Scripting (WINRM & WMI); Printing; User Interface & Inbox Apps; User Profiles; Work Folders. • Good understanding of Networking concept, such as: SMB/CIFS, DNS, RPC, LDAP. • Good understanding of troubleshooting techniques. • Understanding and knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as: C/C++; C#; scripting languages.
