SCRUM MASTER(M/F)- Lisbon

We are searching for a SCRUM Master to conduct a SCRUM team who, through agile methodology and techniques, ensures the delivery of IT capabilities/functionalities with good quality, in sprints agreed with the product owner and DevOps team.

The Main Accountabilities Are

To monitor the team progress and improve the team velocity, ensuring results achievement and by building a self-organized team;
Support the Product Owner and DevOps Team in better defining user stories, plan sprint iteration, and managing the product backlog;
Coordinates with other teams and partners to remove barriers to team’s progress, mitigating the Delivery risks;
Guiding/Coaching the team to be self-organized and promoting the team learning by building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear, facilitating discussion and conflict resolution. The right space to achieve this is on the Daily Scrum, Sprint Retrospective meetings and one2one conversations;
Promotes continuous improvement through the scrum framework process (i.e sprint retrospective meeting), creating an action plan to implement the improvements identified in the meeting;
Collect the team KPI’s (Daily/Sprint) after the output of the Daily Scrum and Sprint Retrospective meetings. Sprint Burn Down graphics must be shared with the team in a daily basis.

Main Requirements

Degree in Computing Management, IT or other;
SCRUM Master Certification;
Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team. Preferably, on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.);
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency;
Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: burn down techniques, retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
