Creativesystems, part of Johnson Controls International, pioneer in RFID solutions for retail, logistics and manufacturing is recruiting Firmware Engineers (m/f) in São João da Madeira. Integrated in a dynamic and experienced software development team, you will be part of cutting edged and innovative projects, both national and international. The main functions are design and develop software/firmware to for existing and new TRS products, such as EAS detection, deactivation, and detacher devices, RFID readers, network interfaces and gateways. Requirements: - Academic degree in Information technology or similar; - Understanding of/experience with development/debugging of embedded systems using TI TMS320, ARM, and PIC processors in embedded target/host development environments; - Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages (and, occasionally, assembly); - Ability to work in a lab environment with new hardware and product solutions, to use test equipment like oscilloscopes, device emulators, and JTAG; - Embedded Linux experience; - Understanding of common web/web service technologies (HTML/Javascript/CSS, SOAP/XML, REST/JSON); - Some serial/network protocol experience; - Understanding of Cloud technologies (MQTT).
