The Johnson Controls (CreativeSystems by Tyco Retail Solutinos) RFID development area is looking for a Implementation Engineer EMEA, to strengthen its unit in São João da Madeira. Reporting to the Solution Architecture & Implementation Manager, this professional is a key member of the global team, and contributes to the successful delivery of programmes encompassing both pre and post-sales responsibilities. You will lead overall solution delivery for both pilot and rollout programs, participate in technical pre-sales activity, establish best practices and supporting collateral, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the team. This position will be based in São João da Madeira and will involve a significant amount of travel in the EMEA region. Profile: - IT academic degree or in a related area; - 3+ years of experience in an Implementation, Delivery or Operations role; - Advanced skills within infrastructure deployment models, mainly virtualization and / or cloud technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure); - Strong knowledge and professionals experience of networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, Load Balancing, NAT, DNS, encryption, IPsec, VLANs, VPNs, routing, firewalls, proxy services, LAN/WAN connectivity); - Networking certification considered a plus; - Experience with RDBMS, mainly SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, among others; - Strong hardware and software diagnostics skills; - Strong Operating Systems (Microsoft) and Security Protocols skills; - Fluency in English, written and spoken (mandatory); - Strong customer orientation; - Availability to travel (40-70%).
