Position: Scrum Master (NL or FR + EN)

Location: Brussels

Languages: Fluent in Dutch or French (native) and English (native

Remote Work: 50% on-site, 50% remote

Role Description: The Scrum Master will serve as a key reference for the project, ensuring the implementation of the Scrum methodology across the Project Team. The primary goal is to ensure a deep understanding of Agile principles and to assist the team in maximizing their results.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.


• Support the Product Owner with the Product Backlog and assist the team in meeting the Definition of Done (DoD).


• Track team metrics like velocity and capacity to guide the project progress.


• Overcome obstacles that affect team performance and ensure the team remains focused.


• Report project progress to management and stakeholders.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as scrum master


• Expertise in Agile reporting tools (e.g., Jira).


• Understanding of automated unit testing, functional testing, and CI/CD tools.


• Experience with Scrum/Kanban and Agile methodologies.


• Business experience in applying Agile techniques and methodologies.


• Knowledge of project management and software development methodologies

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Previous experience in Banking or insurance
