Data Engineer (Apache Flink)

This could be the perfect challenge if you have:
- Proven expertise in Apache Flink, including development and maintenance of applications for real-time streaming and batch processing.
- Advanced programming skills, particularly in Java or Scala, as well as SQL.
- Demonstrated experience working on Flink projects in production environments.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Experience with AWS data services.
- Ability to optimize pipelines for scalability and resource efficiency.
- Experience deploying and managing production-ready Flink clusters, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana to implement alerting and performance tracking systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and job failures.
- Capability to document application architectures, performance tuning processes, and operational best practices.
- Experience in knowledge transfer and training, ensuring internal teams can maintain and expand Flink setups.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, for communication in international environments.
- Hybrid work model: minimum 3 days per week on-site in Porto.
