Position: Senior Systems and Applications Architect Location: Lisbon (Hybrid) What You’ll Do: You will design and implement robust, scalable, and secure system architectures that align with business needs. You will apply best practices in software development, including DevOps, agile methodologies, and writing maintainable code. You will also monitor system performance, address complex issues, and foster a culture of software quality through testing, including unit, integration, load, and performance tests. What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (required). • Over 8 years of experience in System Architecture. • Strong knowledge of standard software stacks (LAMP, ASP.NET), object-oriented programming, and application system architecture patterns. • Certifications (at least one of the following): o Cloud Computing certification (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or equivalent). o DevOps certification (Azure, Jenkins, CKA, Docker Certified Associate, or equivalent). o Security certification (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent). • System Architecture certifications (TOGAF, Zachman Framework, or equivalent). • Project Management experience (MS Project, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies - minimum 5 years). • Experience in Functional Analysis (Requirements gathering, Technical Specifications, BPMN, Jira, and Confluence). • Knowledge of UX/UI design, Accessibility, Linux, Windows Server, databases (SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB), and Web Servers (IIS, Apache).
