Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports. What will you be doing? Design and implement secure data storage solutions; Collaborate with software engineers, security specialists and PMs to architect vault solutions; Pitch high-level design for the solution; Translate business strategic goals into enterprise-wide technology and data strategies for the design and implementation of the modernization program; Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation for the migration of existing applications to the Azure cloud platform; Lead the integration of the new system with other business systems and data flows; Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams; Support Solution Architects, reviewing proposed solutions and maintaining design and governance standards; What are we looking for? Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar with experience in Fintech or Banking areas; Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure; Deep understanding of C++ and C#; Deep knowledge of cloud data services from the Microsoft Azure Cloud and partner ecosystem e.g. Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks; Strong understanding of security models, including zero-trust: Expert knowledge of banking data architecture, governance and architectural design patterns; Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure; Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; Ability to present to business and technology stakeholders to gain approval for design, including architecture boards; Experience with database design and management, particularly SQL; Familiarity with the strangler pattern for application modernization; Strong communication in English (B2 minimum); Remote working outside Portugal is not permitted.
