Linux Security Engineer - Lisbon

Currently, we are seeking an exceptional Cybersecurity Consultant who's passionate about coding, thrives on complex challenges, and is ready to seize this fantastic opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee Kernel hardening techniques;
- Manage access control measures such as DAC and MAC to bolster system security;
- Apply advanced security techniques including secure boot, disk encryption, and sandboxing to safeguard system integrity;
- Utilize expert-level Linux debugging skills to;detect and rectify security vulnerabilities and system malfunctions;
- Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate security procedures, augmenting system resilience;
- Proactively engage in threat modeling to identify potential security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies;
- Collaborate with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Gerrit to maintain seamless security integration and delivery pipelines.

Requirements:
- +5 years experience working as a Cybersecurity Consultant;
- Hands-on Experience in Linux Security;
- Solid grasp of fundamental security principles and familiarity with the latest techniques and features in operating systems, such as secure boot, disk encryption, integrity protection, and sandboxing;
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in Linux debugging to identify and address security vulnerabilities and system issues effectively;
- Experience with programming languages such as C and C++ is preferred, with the ability to analyze and modify code for security enhancement purposes;
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash for automation and security process development;
- Strong understanding of Threat Modelling;
- Proficiency in utilizing CI/CD tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Zuul, and JIRA to maintain and enhance continuous security integration and delivery pipelines;
- Fluent level of English;
- Living in Lisboa (hybrid role).
