We are looking for a Data Analytics Expert to join our Data Analytics Team in PSA Sines. You will be supporting the Team Lead of Data Analytics and take a core role in defining business insights and delivering best-in-class solutions as part of a multi-disciplinary team of software and industry experts. You’ll become part of a worldwide leader in its field of operations. The “main” capabilities: • Deep knowledge in data cleaning, integration, transformation and modelling • Ability to think through alternatives, coming to decision quickly and following through with execution to resolve issues at the source Principal Tasks: • Implement and validate predictive models, create and maintain statistical models • Draw critical insights and relationships both qualitatively and quantitatively from raw data and present key findings in written and oral format to mid-level and senior management • Research data questions/issues – recommend enhancements to data acquisition/movement process to improve data quality • Set up delivery of outputs to requestor which can include automation, scheduled runs, access to a repository, etc. • Monitor/understand/report data quality issues; proactively recommend action(s) • Deploy validated data into productive IT Systems • Develop reports/dashboards based on the business requirements from users • Align to internal standards and best practices; document as required PSA Sines HR TEAM Qualifications & Experience (On the job): • 1 Year + Data Analytics/Data Scientist related work experience • Completed Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent in one of the following areas: 3-5 years course in Data Analysis /Business Intelligence/ Data Warehouse/Statistical Analysis • Experienced with Data Lake & Warehouse concepts, capabilities, and limitations • Experience in using Spark, Scala, Databricks • Solid knowledge of SSIS/SQL required • Knowledge of one of the statistical programming language or tools such as R or Python • Applied experience with descriptive & diagnostic analysis • Working knowledge of data visualization and storytelling concepts (Power BI, Jupyter, QlikView, Tableau or similar) • Strong written and verbal English communication skills Looking forward to have you on board!
